More fuel for the debate on what's Art and what's rubbish comes from the news that a cleaner at the Eyestorm Gallery cleaned away part of one of Damien Hirsts "installations". The artist is said to have found the incident "hysterically funny". I would too.

Airport security gone insane. This incredible story about a guy refused carriage by United Airlines really shows how damaged the USA has become. It's almost like an allergic reaction.

Java Emulator's seem to be strewn liberally about the web. You can now emulate the ZX Spectrum, Timex T1000/ZX81, MSX and Atari ST in your browser. Also the Java Arcade Emulator emulates a range of arcade classics including my personal favourites Space Invaders, Gravitar (Bit slow) and Kung-Fu Master.

Macromedia is claiming it owns an Adobe Patent relating to Photoshop & GoLive. Details are sketchy, but I guess it's web related technology. The Seattle Post-Intelligencer and Salon have both run virtually the same short note on this.

Anyone for Photoshop Tennis? As the site says "It's a pretty simple idea really. One player emails a photoshop document to the other containing a single layer. Each player progressively adds a layer until the match is over, either by time, withdrawal or mutual consent. A guest adds comments in real time and the people watching vote for a winner.". Cool or what? I liked the 10.19 match best so far. Wired have a story on this.

Another uncouth but funny cartoon strip regarding the "War on Terrorism". Not that there's (m)any other subjects on the go at the moment....

Talk about crazy House prices!, I just saw this article over at Yahoo talking about a Garage in Edinburgh going for £100,000. £100,000!!!! That's more than a lifetime supply of beer!>* Anyone who can afford to buy this Garage, and wants to do so, is probably in desperate need of a good slap.
* According to my calculations

The RIAA Wants to Hack Your PC. An RIAA-drafted amendment, intended for the anti-terrorism bill approved by US congress last week, would have immunized all copyright holders for any data losses caused by their hacking efforts or other computer intrusions "that are reasonably intended to impede or prevent" electronic piracy. Whatever else I might say about the RIAA ( nothing good I assure you ) I do have to admit they have big brass ones. Relevant stories on Lycos & Wired.

TV Go Home's usual near-the-knuckle spoof TV listings haven't shirked from the "war on terrorism". It is as always, inspired. Check it here. (Warning: strong language!)

Apologies for the really ugly design. This is just a test, I'm experimenting, honest! I have a proper design worked out and will be putting it together soon. I've just spent the last few days learning to use Dreamweaver, which I definately like, though it sure gives you enough rope to shoot yourself in the foot. I have completely redone my wallpaper site ( Obi's Wallpaper World ) in Dreamweaver. I've also added some nice Kylie Images, check it out.
