Pies, Pies, Pies and Flash

Todays weird Flash movies, Part 1: The Weebl and Bob Flash Movies seem to have a distinctly pro pie attitude. This is understandable. Dig the music too.

I saw my favourite word in print yesterday, not once, but twice! Cheered me no end, that did.

More Lego Shenannigins

These LegoTM Mathematical Sculptures are fantastic. Not very big though, I think they should be bigger, much bigger, they have definate "jaggies" at the current scaling.

This boy doesn't like the World Cup

[Via email] This site deftly expresses the authors distaste for the World Cup Football tournament. Warning: Bad language and probably not suitable for those of a patriotic or nationalistic bias, or anyone that takes football as religion

George Michael actually has something to say? Maybe....

Yahoo news reports that George Michael's latest release leaves him on "dangerous ground" being as it is a hard-biting political satire critisizing The Shurb and the Poodle and their special relationship..
"Shoot the Dog", in which the singer presents his views on the state of world affairs, is openly critical of the "special" relationship between U.S. President George W. Bush and Prime Minister Tony Blair.

"I know this is dangerous territory," he told the Mirror newspaper on the eve of the song's release. "But I really feel this is such a serious time for us all that being silent is not an option."

The cartoon video sees Bush on the White House lawn petting a smiling poodle-shaped Blair and also depicts the two leaders dancing the tango, Blair in a flowing dress.
Well, maybe, maybe not, I'll reserve judgement till I hear the track. Problem is, even if the message is good, the delivery will probably be a pile of Middle-of-the-road pseudo-R&B wank. Let's be honest, Georgies best musical days were in fact Wham days, and that my friends a frightening thought. (Though I must confess, weirdo that I am, I think "Young Guns" is a work of genius)
