British driving the best in the world

Maybe not, but considerably less lethal than the French, according to this article where the French government have instructed it's drivers to look to the British as an example of how to drive.
On Tuesday, TF1, the main commercial TV channel, broadcast a report on British motoring manners. "We will show you that British drivers even stop for pedestrians at crossings, something we do not do," the reporter said.
Hmm, well I might want to dispute that, it seems at least 15% of all British drivers try to kill me on the zebra crossing round the corner.......
